Let’s face it, wedding planning can be stressful! Well, Sweet Sound is here to make the “entertainment” part of your reception a lot easier to plan with a lot less to worry about.
Upon hiring Sweet Sound to be the DJs at your wedding, we immediately become event partners and it stays that way until the last song ends on your big night! We vow to meet face to face with all of our clients a minimum of twice prior to your event to ensure that your musical preferences and our emceeing responsibilities are understood. Twice is the minimum – if you want to meet with us ten times, no problem! We know that there are very few days in your life that will be as important as this one, and we want to help make it even more special that you possibly imagined. Hiring a compassionate, experienced and likable DJ is crucial for your reception’s reputation, so you’re in the right place!
We have developed a very detailed and helpful “Reception Timeline and Planner,” which will assist you in arranging the order of your bridal party introductions, first dances, toasts and various other wedding traditions such as the cake cutting and bouquet/garter tosses. It also will give our DJ a firm schedule of events that you would like to stick to.
You can download the Planner via the link below or print it. Once complete, just e-mail it back to us or mail it if you prefer (links are at the bottom of the form). We can also obtain it during our face to face meeting. We have a vast music collection (which grows daily). If we somehow don’t have a song choice of yours, we have the ability to download any song via iTunes® “on the spot” or by request.
A lot of DJ companies will force you to call them to get prices. This bugged me when I got married, so I want to display our current pricing right here on our website. When you do contact us for booking, we want to talk about your big day and its details, not the prices. Our pricing plan is simple with absolutely no variables.
-Sweet Sound charges on a per hour basis at $150/hr.
-We do NOT charge Overtime. If you want the party to keep going beyond the contracted end time, it will be billed at the normal rate ($150/hr).
-Our services require a minimum of 4 hours to book, but any length beyond that can be contracted upon.
-We require a $100 security deposit to hold your date.
That’s it, plain and simple. There are no “hidden fees.” This price includes all of our setup/breakdown as well as access to all of our tools such as the Reception Planner, our extensive music library and our face to face meetings. It also includes all of our extras, such as lighting equipment* and our emcee duties. We want to do so much more than just play music at your reception. We want to help you plan it and be there to make sure it goes according to that plan.
*Additional uplighting may be extra.
-Sweet Sound charges a flat rate of $150
Perhaps you need a DJ to play classical or specific music during your actual ceremony (The “I DO’s”). If so no problem, as you can see we also have a simple pricing plan for this.
This price is regardless of location, duration or indoor/outdoor. Some DJ companies will charge extra if the ceremony is in a different location than the reception or if it goes over a certain time frame. Not us. In case you haven’t noticed, one of our main goals is to keep this as simple as possible for you in your already daunting planning process.
